When you search for colleges keep an open mind. Start with an online college search and begin to collect college information. When you perform a college information search you are collecting information to use at a future date. This information is useful in comparing to other colleges.

One word of caution, develop an organization system for your college search, otherwise yoru college information will be worthless. Whether you buy a college planner or a guide, find the organizational system that works for your college search.
